A 3-day-old infant is re-admitted to the hospital with neonatal Staphylococcal aureus septicemia.
What is the primary diagnosis code?
A 10-day-old infant was brought to the ER via ambulance after the mom saw that he was in respiratory distress. In the ER he had severe cyanosis and tachycardia. After he was intubated and put on a ventilator, a diagnostic echocardiogram revealed persistent fetal circulation. After two days they pulled the tube and vent and the infant was able to breathe on his own.
Assign the diagnosis code(s) as well as the procedures.
