Shift: Candidate will be working both day & evening shifts. Day begins at 6am and the evening begins at 11am. Schedule will include both weekdays and weekends

Duration: 3-month Contract (possibility of extension)

Job Description:

  • WA food handler permit required; may obtain after start (30 minute online course that costs $10)
  • COVID Vaccination – Must be fully vaccinated (2 doses) or apply for a medical or religious exemption
  • Compliance requirements: Background screening, drug screening, standard clinical immunizations including HepA (required within first month of start, with completed series within six months of start),

 

Job Summary:
Prepares and services specified food for patients and cafeteria customers, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand product labels, recipes, and menus.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
  • The ability to understand specific verbal or written instructions and procedures.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge.
  • One or more years of cooking experience or comparable healthcare food service experience.

 

Health Screen Requirements:

  • Demonstrate immunity to Hep B, Measles, Mump, Rubeolla, Varicella (Chicken Pox) through titers
  • 10-Panel drug screen (including Marijuana/THC. We will accept a drug screen if done within the previous 90 days) 
  • Pre-Employment Physical (Fit to work)
  • Tuberculosis test, showing negative, or chest X-ray
  • TDap vaccine (declination or proof of immunization within last ten years) 
  • Flu vaccine – Required (proof of most recent flu shot) 
  • COVID vaccine – Required (proof of COVID card and booster)
