Pro Fee Coder – Cardiology
Pay Rate: $37/hr
Shift: Must start off working 0700-1530/0800-1630 CST for first few weeks of training & orientation but shifts can be flexible thereafter as long as it is discussed and approved by lead/manager

Job Description:
Looking for an experienced ProFee Coder that will require minimal onboarding time and can jump directly into production while the department trains permanent staff up to full productivity standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be certified with an AHIMA or AAPC credential. No preference for specific credential as long as it is from one of those certifying bodies.
- 3-5 years’ MINIMUM experience with Pro Fee coding
- Must have enough experience to be able to code to standards – 95% accuracy rate at an average of 8 charts per hour
- Strong knowledge of coding Cardiology cases
- Solid knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS & CPT
- Proficiency with 3M, 360 & Epic software to decrease training time
***Candidates will be expected to complete an assessment prior to engagement to evaluate capabilities.
Health Screen Requirements:
- Demonstrate immunity to Hep B, Measles, Mump, Rubeolla, Varicella (Chicken Pox) through titers
- 10-Panel drug screen (including Marijuana/THC. We will accept a drug screen if done within the previous 90 days)
- Pre-Employment Physical (Fit to work)
- Tuberculosis test, showing negative, or chest X-ray
- TDap vaccine (declination or proof of immunization within last ten years)
- Flu vaccine – Required (proof of most recent flu shot)
