Job Description: 

The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for providing training support for all aspects of Revenue Cycle workflow. The position coordinates efforts of Revenue Cycle training related to system implementations with ISD staff, system users, management, & vendors. The Trainer uses proven methodologies to create system training, including needs analysis, design development, implementation & evaluation. The Revenue Cycle Trainer coordinates efforts & participates in testing of system related enhancements & other related Revenue Cycle workflow changes/implementations as necessary. The Revenue Cycle Trainer conducts research & fact finding in an effort to diagnose root causes of revenue cycle related issues, so as to recommend a favorable problem resolution. The Revenue Cycle Trainer will be responsible to facilitate training courses, either one-on-one or in a group setting.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; can be substituted for a minimum of 4 years experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle
  • Experience conducting needs analysis
  • Experience with group training
  • Experience in problem solving, process improvement and process flow

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience in training EPIC systems
  • Professional/Healthcare billing experience 

 

Health Screen Requirements

  • Demonstrate immunity to Hep B, Measles, Mump, Rubeolla, Varicella (Chicken Pox) through titers
  • 10-Panel drug screen (including Marijuana/THC. We will accept a drug screen if done within the previous 90 days) 
  • Pre-Employment Physical (Fit to work)
  • Tuberculosis test, showing negative, or chest X-ray
  • TDap vaccine (declination or proof of immunization within last ten years) 
  • Flu vaccine – Required (proof of most recent flu shot) 
  • COVID vaccine – Required (proof of COVID card and booster)
